Hutchison Ports Thailand (HPT) recently held a virtual conference to provide a business update to members of the media. Our Managing Director, Mr. Stephen Ashworth and Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Anat Machima explained how the current COVID pandemic has been impacting the company’s operations and container volumes at its Laem Chabang terminals. The media was also provided with the latest update on the introduction of technology at HPT’s Terminal D, including the deployment of additional autonomous trucks as part of its container yard and berth operations.
