On September 29, 2022, Mr. Stephen Ashworth, the Managing Director of Thailand and South East Asia, Hutchison Ports, was invited to participate in the Faculty of International Maritime Studies, Kasetsart University, Sriracha Campus’ ceremony of dressing up & decorating the uniform to mark the academic year 2022.
Mr. Ashworth was honoured to be a guest speaker and address the topic of “NEW TECHNOLOGIES FOR GREENER SHIPPING”, which reflects the need to support a green transition of the maritime sector into a sustainable future – showcasing marine innovation, research and development, and the deployment of new technologies.
Hutchison Ports Thailand’s association with International Maritime Studies, Kasetsart University, began in August 2020 to provide more structured research, internship and career-related support for students.
