On the 26th of June 2024, Mr. Anat Machima, Chief Operating Officer of Hutchison Ports Thailand (HPT), represented HPT to receive a certificate for participating in the confronting climate change conference, “Our Land. Our Future. We are Generation Restoration,” in contribution to World Environment Day.
The conference was a collaborative effort between the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (MNRE), the Faculty of International Maritime Studies at Kasetsart University, Sriracha Campus (IMS, KU), and MNRE’s volunteers from Thung Sukla District.
During the event, HPT’s Security Environment and Maintenance Department, along with the Corporate Affairs Department, shared insights regarding the company’s sustainable business strategy at a booth exhibition.
Reflecting the company’s commitment to confronting climate change for the better, the exhibition showcased HPT’s approach to sustainability, emphasising three pillars: the environment, the people, and the business.
