August 4, 2019 Hutchison Ports Thailand (HPT) the largest container terminal operator at Laem Chabang Port and Thailand, break a new record for vessel handling productivity. Between 13:00-14:00 of August 4th, 217 containers were discharged from the M. V. HONG KONG EXPRESSE using mainly remotely controlled ship-to-shire cranes at Terminal D. The average crane operating rate during this period of time was close to 43 moves per hours.
