APEC Port Services Network (APSN) announced that Hutchison Ports Thailand (HPT) won the Green Port Award System 2022 (GPAS).
The Council of the APSN recognized the high calibre and excellent environmental actions and leadership demonstrated by all recipients. As one of the winners, HPT’s efforts exemplify the commitments and contributions to environmental responsibility and a more sustainable maritime industry.

This is in recognition of the environmental actions and high calibre of leadership demonstrated by our employees and partners and demonstrates our commitment to the continued sustainable development of the industry.” Mr Stephen Ashworth, the Managing Director of Thailand and South East Asia, Hutchison Ports, said.
Moving forward, HPT will continue its commitment to being a Green Terminal. By the end of this year, the company plans to introduce a new fleet of electric trailers which will be added to the electric-powered equipment already in operation at the terminal, such as remote-controlled cranes and autonomous trucks.
