Thursday, November 1, 2018: Hutchison Port Thailand (HPT) recently welcomed a delegation from Qinzhou Bonded Port, China and the Port Authority of Thailand. During this visit, the group was presented with an overview of the logistics business in Thailand and the role that Hutchison Ports Thailand business group and HPT’s business plays in the country.
Wednesday, October 31, 2018: The executives of Hutchison Ports Thailand (HPT) welcomed Mr. Krisada Chinavicharana, Director General of Customs Department and other members of the board. During the visit, the team inspected the handling processes at the Container Freight Station (CFS) at Terminal C1C2.
Monday, October 29, 2018: Hutchison Ports Thailand (HPT) recently welcomed 89 participants from Dhurakij Pundit University, Majoring in International Business. During the visit, the group learned more about logistics management, import and export international shipping, and were given demonstrations of the new technology on display for port businesses. This includes the remote-controlled quay cranes (RCQC) and remote-controlled electric rubber tyred gantry cranes (RCeRTG) at Laem Chabang Port, Terminal D.
Thursday, October 25, 2018 Hutchison Ports Thailand (HPT) welcomed 77 participants from the Faculty of Management Sciences at Kasetsart University Sriracha Campus. The group visited HPT’s C1C2 Terminal and were given a presentation describing Hutchison Ports Business Group’s and HPT’s overview of Thailand’s logistics business and Port Management. The group was also given a demonstration of the new remote-control technology currently being employed at HPT’s Terminal D1.
October 12, 2018 : Hutchison Ports Thailand (HPT) recently welcomed representatives from the Port of Kitakyushu in Japan. The group was met warmly and the two exchanged information and publicity activities during the visit. The group was presented with an overview of the logistics business in Thailand and the role that Hutchison Ports Thailand business group and HPT’s business plays in the country. A demonstration was also given showcasing the new technology on display for port businesses, such as remote-control technology, at Laem Chabang Port, Terminal D.
September 27, 2018 : Hutchison Ports Thailand (HPT) recently welcomed participants from PTT Public Company Limited, Department of International Trade and Transportation who visited Hutchison Ports business group and discuss to exchange information of Thailand’s logistics business, overseas international trade, and new technology for port businesses (remote control technology).
September 15, 2018: Hutchison Ports Thailand (HPT) with Laem Chabang Port (LCP) joined together for a CSR event focused on cleaning up and preserving the beach environment. The group met to collect trash and debris from the beach area at the Banglamung Home for Boys, Chonburi Province.
September 13, 2018: Hutchison Ports Thailand (HPT) welcomed ninety-four participants from King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok International Trade and Business Logistics, International College. The group visited HPT’s C1C2 Terminal to learn more about port management and the new technology being implemented at the port. During this visit, participates were presented with Hutchison Ports business group and HPT’s overview of Thailand’s logistics business, international shipping, import & export management as well as a look into some of the new technology being implemented for port businesses.
Thursday, August 23, 2018: Hutchison Ports Thailand (HPT) recently welcomed nearly one hundred participants from the Port Authority of Thailand (PAT), Operations Department Group 2. The group visited HPT’s C1C2 Terminal to see the enhanced performance and new technology on display at the terminal. During this visit, participates were also presented with Hutchison Ports business group and HPT’s overview of Thailand’s logistics business and new technology for port businesses (remote control technology), as well as an overview of the general operations at Laem Chabang Port, Terminal D.
