On March 9, 2022, Hutchison Ports Thailand (HPT) welcomed the media to Terminal D, Laem Chabang Port, to update them on HPT’s sustainability initiatives, 2021 business performance and expansion plans.
During the event, Mr. Stephen Ashworth, Managing Director of Thailand & South East Asia, Hutchison Ports and Mr. Anat Machima, Chief Operating Officer of Hutchison Ports Thailand, shared their insights with the media.
The event ended with a Q&A session and a tour of Terminal D, which provided the media with the opportunity to observe the operations of our remote control cranes and autonomous trucks. Hutchison Ports Thailand’s Terminal D is the first dual traffic mode container terminal globally, operating both driverless and conventional trucks.
