On 11 June 2026, Hutchison Ports Thailand (HPT) and the Faculty of International Maritime Studies at Kasetsart University, Sriracha Campus (IMS KU), entered into their third Memorandum of Agreement on Academic Cooperation (MOA). This partnership aims to develop the potential of students and the next generation of talent for Thailand’s maritime and port industry.
Mr. Stephen Ashworth, Managing Director – Southeast Asia & Australia, Hutchison Ports, alongside Assistant Professor Dr. Prachakon Kaewkhiaw, Dean of the Faculty of International Maritime Studies, Kasetsart University, Sriracha Campus, officially signed the renewed Memorandum of Agreement.
The agreement encompasses internships, study visits, guest lectures, and sustainability initiatives. These opportunities are designed to foster practical experience, ensuring students are highly capable and well-prepared for real-world operations within the logistics and maritime industry.
